What's in a name?

I think you can tell what kind of weather we've been having in the Midwest just by looking at the names of some of Iowa's newest caches.

The Watering Hole
STOP! it'sTwister Hill
Gonna Storm
At the waters edge
Waterfront Property
IT'S CREEKY

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have been affected by the floods.

  1. I placed a cache called Tornado X-ing, GCHJIR, on 1/21/2004. It's just N of Waterloo in the path of the FIRST tornado that came through there. It wrecked the area on May 11, 2000. Now it so happens that a SECOND twister crossed the same spot on 5/25/08!

Indeed I must have found a real tornado X-ing!
