Okoboji meet and greet?
We'll be joining my extended family for our annual Okoboji Memorial Day reunion next weekend. If there's any interest in a geocachers' meet-n-greet -- say on Sunday morning for breakfast -- maybe we can organize something. It's too late to list an official event cache on geocaching.com, but let me know if you're interested and we can publicize it on this blog and in the IGO forums.

You have to do this one INGAWANIS weekend?? ;)
Yeah, I know. I wish there was some way I could get over to the Waterloo area that weekend, but I just can't make it because of our family reunion. I thought that other geocachers might be in a similar situation in NW Iowa, but might be able to make it to Okoboji.
Dont know what your travel schedule or route are, but you are sure welcome to stop for a bit as you pass by. If you think that is a possibility, drop me an email and Ill give you my cell number.
I sure wish I could stop by, but I can't make it work for this trip. We'll be passing through the eastern half of the state sometime after 9 p.m. Friday night, and with several hours of driving still ahead of us at that point, my family would shoot me if I suggested we stop for a geocache -- even a large event. We won't make the return trip until Monday, and INGAWANIS will be over by then.
Well, I hope you have a fun time wherever you end up this weekend :)
